British Prime Minister Theresa May’s plans to include international students in official immigrant data has come after renewed fire, with statistics that the benefits of international students to the British economy are 10 times greater than the cost. A major study reveals that almost every part of the British economy benefit from the cash brought in by international students.

A new citizenship law is planned to be enacted in Australia to come into effect on July 1, 2018. The following are some of the provisions of the Bill which is yet to be put before Parliament: to increase the residency requirement to four years with no more than one year spent outside Australia during that period. Applicants will need to demonstrate English language skills at a modest level, they’ll have to undertake to integrate into and contribute to the Australian community and to demonstrate their integration into the Australian community
